Book a test

Technical tests are taken at an ECITB approved test centre which are located across the UK. Some employers also offer Site Based Assessment which captures the Connected Competence base standard through naturally occurring work scopes at site (please speak to your employer to check if this is available).

Each test / assessment is specific to a trade discipline activity and includes questions relevant to the specific activity, followed by the practical assessment(s). Once successfully completed, Connected Competence is valid for 3–4 years, depending on the specialist trade.
