Book technical test(s) here.

Technical tests

Technical tests are taken at an ECITB test centre which are spread out across the UK. During 2022 ECITB will also enable an additional, alternative delivery model for employers whereby tests can be conducted through digital means at site, whilst carrying out work activity. Each test is specific to a trade discipline activity and includes questions relevant to the specific activity, followed by the practical assessment(s). Once successfully completed, Connected Competence is valid for 3–4 years, depending on the specialist trade.
